The first new cruise ship of the Carnival China joint venture Adora Cruises is to be named MS Adora Magic City. This cruise ship is the first mighty cruise ship to be built in China. It is being built at Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding with the support of the Italian Fincantieri shipyard, which developed the ship class for Carnival and the US market.
MS Adora Magic City is scheduled to set sail in late 2023. A second unit is under construction and planned for 2025.
Carnival Cruises plans to become with the latest brand „Adora Cruises“ the number one player in the chinese cruise market.
